On Friday 14 July 2023, five members of the Army Bands Corps participated in the celebration event of the national holiday of France (Bastille Day), taking place at Place de la Concorde. The President of France Mr Emmanuel Macron and the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi attended the event.

The Greek detachment was incorporated into the delegations of eighteen NATO countries, forming a joint Band which paraded and demonstrated Military Formations, accompanied by the sound of Military Marches.

From 10 to 14 July 2023, in the context of outreach reinforcement by the Hellenic Army Academy, aiming to promote its work and with the main goal of improving the level of training through the exchange of training procedures and models, various students and Officers participated in the summer military training of the Academy, taking place at the “KANAPITSA” Exercise Field, in Litochoro-Pieria, from the following countries:

From 10 to 14 July 2023, the School of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) was conducted in the premises of the Unconventional Warfare Training Centre, at the “LIEUTENANT GENERAL GEORGIOS KATSANIS” Camp, with the participation of 11 members, of whom 2 were from the Port Authority – Hellenic Coastguard and 2 from the Armed Forces of Albania.

Training included the following subjects:

•    Basic theoretical knowledge for wound care.

•    Evacuation of wounded person from the battlefield.

•    Practical exercise on scenarios simulating the battlefield.

On Friday 14 July 2023, the oath-taking ceremony of the new Career Sergeants of Class 2023 “Col (INF) Spyridon Theodoropoulos” took place at the NCOs Academy in Trikala, in the presence of the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis as representative of the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Konstantinos Floros, who presented the oath-takers with the certificates.

On Tuesday 11 July 2023, the great festive vespers for the celebration of the memory of Saint Paisios of Mount Athos, patron of the Signals Corps was conducted in the premises of the Signals School at the “KARAISKAKIS A’” Camp in Chaidari-Attica.
