On Friday, 23 November, 2018, in the context of the activities scheduled for the Personnel Welfare Year 2018, an examination for the award of a Basic Computer Skills Certificate was held gratis in the Military School of Computer Programming, in Athens, for Conscripts who serve in the Region of Attica.

In this manner, we gave the possibility to Conscripts to obtain a certificate recognized by the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection, while fulfilling their military obligations, which will be a professional asset later in their career.

The aforementioned examination was held in cooperation with a private firm which is a computer skills certification centre recognized by the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualification and Professional Guidance.

On Friday, 23 November 2018, an event was held at “PAPAGOU” Camp by the Hellenic Army General Staff regarding “Operational Planning”.

The meeting aimed at demonstrating the military way of planning, the knowledge of the methodology used in successful organizations-agencies other than the Army and the common approaches and “best practices” among them.

The Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis announced the meeting’s proceedings.

There were four speakers, as follows:
