On Sunday, 13 May 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the 9th Motorized Brigade ‘ADRIANOUPOLIS’  and attended the National Guards’ training, of Florina and Amynteo National Guard Battalions.

The excellent organization and execution of  training seminars, the outstanding discipline and high morale of our National Guards prove once more the reason for which National Guard’s Forces are considered  one of the most important Army Power Multipliers.

An  Active Army, Reserve and National Guard ensure our territorial integrity.

Τhe Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis STEFANIS completed his official visit to Israel held from Tuesday 8 May to Thursday 10 May 2018.

The Chief of HAGS  hosted  by the Chief of the Land Forces of Israel, Major General Yaacov Barak, held discussions with him on issues of  mutual interest, in the context of the Cooperation Program between Greece and Israel such as:
    • Changes in the Form of Land Forces in order to tackle modern and future forms of threat.
    • Review of the Security Environment at a Regional level.
    • Ways to broaden the Military Cooperation in various fields.
    • Exchange of visits of Schools Students and Commanders to attend instructional lectures at Arms Schools in Greece and Israel.
