The graduation and oath-taking ceremony of the new 2nd Lieutenants from Class 2020 “Infantry Major General Konstantinos Davakis” was conducted on Friday 26 June 2020, at the Hellenic Army Academy, in Vari - Attica, in the Presence of Her Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic, Miss Katerina Sakellaropoulou, who presented the oath-takers with their swords.

Visit of the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff in the 4th Army Corps Area of Responsibility

The Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis conducted a visit to the 4th Army Corps “THRACE” Area of Responsibility, on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 June 2020.

During his visits, the Chief visited Surveillance Outposts, Units and military installations in the Corps Area of Responsibility, he observed operational activities and provided guidelines to the personnel, regarding the execution of its mission.

It was concluded that the degree of operational readiness and realism of the conducted training is high, as is the morale of the personnel.

Retired Officers receive mementos during a ceremony

On Wednesday June 10th 2020, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff Chief General Konstantinos Floros and the Hellenic Army General Staff Chief Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis attended a ceremony at the Hellenic Armed Forces Officers’ Club during which retired officers, members of the Supreme Military Council received mementos for successfully ending their careers during the 2020 regular nominations.
