Digital Integrated Artillery System (DIAS)

The Digital Integrated Artillery System (DIAS) is a Command and, Control system specially designed to support the field artillery operational needs from the Corps level through the weapon system level. It has the capability of processing firing data for all the possible combinations of howitzers, launchers and ammunition available in the Hellenic Artillery. Also it has the capability of 3-dimentional imaging of the battlefield, management of digital terrain models, satellite images, and raster digital maps and digital interconnectivity through wireless radio or wired communication systems. DIAS was developed exclusively by Artillery Directorate in cooperation with the Hellenic defense industry.
