On Saturday, 31 January, and Sunday, 01 April 2018, on the occasion of the Holy Week and the Holy Easter, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, made the following visits to the Areas of Responsibility of C Army Corps "Megas Alexandros" Formations:

- On Saturday, 31 March 2018, he visited the 8th Motorised Infantry Brigade – VIII MP "IPIROS" and, in particular, the Surveillance Outposts of Molyvdoskepasto and Plikati, where he exchanged wishes with the Outpost personnel and the National Guardsmen of the National Guard Battalions of Kalpaki and Konitsa.

- On Sunday, 01 April 2018, he visited the 9th Motorised Infantry Brigade "ANDRIANOUPOLI" and, in particular, the Surveillance Outpost of Grammos, where he opened the lodging facility, followed by the Surveillance Outposts of Dipotamia, Aghios Ioannis, Ieropighi, and Krystallopighi, where he exchanged wishes with the Outpost personnel and the National Guardsmen of the National Guard Battalions of Kastoria and Nestorio.

During his visits, he also discussed and exchanged wishes with the local Formation commands and civilians who happened to be in the outposts on the occasion of the Easter holidays.
