The Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis visited the Artillery School in Nea Peramos - Attica, on Wednesday 16 January 2019, where he gave a speech to the trainee Artillery Second Lieutenants of the “Lieutenant General (ENG) Konstantinos Kallaris” 2018 Class of the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon), participating in the basic training course.
During his speech to the new Second Lieutenants, the Chief stressed the following:
- That they must have a vision and set goals, but first of all they must focus on the effort required for their materialisation.
- That they must believe that each of them can make a difference in every level.
- That they must focus on their academic education and professional skills.
- That they must be characterised daily by love, interest and selflessness.
- That the secret for successful Leadership is none other than PASSION for the military profession, stemming from the love for the Homeland.
We wish for the trainee Second Lieutenants, who are the Army’s new blood, successful studies, a healthy life and strength for the execution of their duties, for the benefit of the Army, of the Armed Forces and our Homeland in general!
