The Hellenic Army General Staff, on the occasion of successfully responding to 1,000 urgent incidents of Explosive Ordnance (EOD)/Mechanism-Ammunition Disposal by the Land Minefield Clearance Battalion, honours its personnel, who regularly and under any circumstances, across the entire Greek territory, safely and professionally dispose of Explosive Ordnance/Mechanisms and Ammunition, which constitute a threat for the people.

In detail, during these incidents, the following were detected and disposed of:

• 1193 Missiles
• 694 Grenades
• 94 Mines
• 43 Rockets
• 25 Air Force Bombs
• 22 Rifle Grenades
