From 29 May 2023 to 2 June 2023 and in the context of the Military Cooperation Programme among Greece and the United Arab Emirates 2023, a training of 3 Officers and 7 NCOs of the Armed Forces of UAE was conducted at the “1^st Lieutenant Zogos Georgios” Camp, on subjects of VIPs protection.

The training, among others, included a briefing on the principles of accompanying VIPs and practice in the following subjects:

• Guarding of vulnerable targets.

• Formations of escort on-foot.

• Procedures of arrival and departure of VIPs.
