From Friday 27 August 2021 until Sunday 5 September 2021, the 14th International Military Bands Festival “Spasskaya Tower 2021” took place in Moscow’s Red Square, with the participation of the Military Band of the Higher Army Support Military Command (ASDYS “THESAEUS”) and a section of the Military Academy.

The Greek participation, which performed in the Red Square during evening hours and p in various spots of the Russian capital during morning hours, consisted of 32 members of the Higher Army Support Military Command (ASDYS “THESAEUS”) Military Band, as well as of a 20 Cadets section, who performed in their anniversary military uniforms from different periods of the Greek history, honoring this way the completion of 200 years since the 1821 Revolution.

The Festival, in which 29 military bands participated, from 5 countries (Russia, Greece, Belarus, Mexico and Qatar), was attended by more than 25,000 spectators and the closing ceremony was broadcast live on the Russian television station TV Center and the Russian social network Vkontakte.
