On Friday, 10 August 2018, a ceremony was held in the Parachutist School in Aspropyrgos for the award of the Static Line Parachutist Badge and diplomas to the Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) cadets and Career NCO School students who graduated from the Basic Parachutist Training Course.

The rigorous training conducted in the Parachutist School from 23 July to 10 August 2018 was successfully completed by 71 Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) cadets and 37 Career NCO School students, who waived part of their summer leave to this end.

The diplomas and badges were awarded to the graduates by the Deputy Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Nikolaos Manouris.

The ceremony was attended by his Eminence, the Metropolitan of Mesogea and Lavreotiki, Mr. Nikolaos, a delegation of Officers, and friends and family of the graduates.
