On  Thursday, 05 July 2018, in the context of the declaration of year 2018 as “Personnel Welfare Year”, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis attended the inauguration ceremony, regarding the delivery of four new Military Housing Quarters, in the “LIEUTENANT COLONEL (INF) FAKINOS PANAGIOTIS” Camp in Goudi.

The military housing quarters that will operate at the responsibility of the Higher Army Support Military Command (HASMC “THESEUS”), enhance with extremely low cost, the possibility of temporary accommodation, as far as active and retired officers and family members are concerned. They are furnished with the necessary amenities to cover basic living conditions.

With the works of the military housing quarters construction completed and those that are under way for this year, the care for our personnel’s family needs is actually implemented, so that the staff remains undistracted and with high morale, regarding the execution of its mission. Finally, he visited the facilities of the 13th Special Operations Command and he was informed on the current situation and provided directives.
