On Monday, 12 November 2018, a scientific meeting was held under the name “Movember, a men’s movement”, in Athens Armed Forces Officers Club.

This scientific meeting forms part of a series of actions that the Hellenic Army jointly organizes with the Non Profit Company “AKOS: Body and Soul Healing”, in the context of their cooperation. The meeting aimed at making men realize the importance of prevention and invites them to give priority to the protection of their health, leaving behind harmful habits and adopting a healthy and balanced way of living.

The meeting, which was attended by distinguished Greek scientists and well-known artists and journalists, included, besides presentations, communication with the audience.

The cooperation actions with health agencies will continue throughout the year of Personnel’s Welfare, aiming at updating and training our personnel in health matters, since health is better than wealth.
