From 04 to 06 June 2019, the Hellenic Army Inspector General, Lieutenant General Antonios Nomikos, visited the islands Limnos and Samothraki which are within the area of responsibility of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands.

The Inspector General visited units, premises and Surveillance Outposts of the 88th Military Command (88th MC “LIMNOS”) and the Tactical Command of the 41st Infantry Regiment.

The visit confirmed the high level of readiness, the proper condition of the assets and the excellent morale of the personnel serving in the Higher Military Command of the Interior and Islands.
