On Friday, 08 December 2023, troops and assets of the 71st Airmobile Brigade “PONTOS”, the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS LAHANAS”, and the US 12th Combat Aviation Brigade conducted operational training in the broader area of the village of Livadia on Mt. Paiko.

The training examined many operational tasks and procedures, such as planning and execution of airmobile operations in cooperation with transport and utility helicopters.

This action took place within the framework of international cooperation activities with friendly and allied nations planned by the Hellenic National Defence General Staff and contributed to the enhancement of the level of operational readiness, combat effectiveness, and cooperation between the two countries’ troops.
