On Friday, 27 January 2023, a ceremony was held at the Athens Armed Forces Officers' Club for the graduation of the 75th Training Class from the Engineer Officer Technical Training School.

The diplomas were awarded to the graduates by the Deputy Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, who congratulated them and praised the School for its work of providing high-level scientific and technical training to its students.

Furthermore, the Deputy Chief awarded commemorative plaques to the Vice Rector of the National Technical University of Athens, Mr. Evangelos Sapountzakis, and to the professor of School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, Mr. Charalampos Gantes, for their long-standing contribution to the School as members of faculty or its Studies Council. Moreover, he awarded a commemorative plaque to professor and President of the Earthquake Planning and Protection Organization, Mr. Efthymios Lekkas, for his contribution to the continued education of a number of students through their participation in a Postgraduate Programme.

The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Engineer Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Major General Leonidas Papaleonidas, active duty and retired Engineer Officers, members of faculty, and family members of the graduates.

Graduates included 13 Officers, of which 2 from Cyprus.
