On Wednesday, 17 January 2024, the first meeting of the new Supreme Military Council took place at the Hellenic Army General Staff in Camp “ALEXANDROU PAPAGOU”.

The meeting was also attended by the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis, who delivered an address to the members of the Supreme Military Council.

The Council consists of the following Officers:

- Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff
- Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos, Commanding General, Hellenic First Army/EU-OHQ
- Lieutenant General Spyridon Alfantakis, Army Inspector General
- Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, Deputy Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff
- Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos, Commanding General, D Army Corps
- Lieutenant General Emmanouil Theodorou, Commanding General, High Military Command of Interior and Islands
- Lieutenant General Athanasios Sardellis, Commandant, Hellenic National Defence College
- Lieutenant General Dimitrios Bolomytis, Commanding General, Hellenic Army Support Command
- Lieutenant General Prokopios Mavraganis, Commanding General, Hellenic Special Warfare Command
- Lieutenant General Mihail Klouvas, Hellenic Army Reorganisation Inspector at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff – Coordinator for the Establishment of the Construction and Natural Disaster Relief Command – Commanding General, Construction and Natural Disaster Relief Command (upon its activation)
