On Wednesday 09 March 2022, the first convening of the new Supreme Military Council was conducted in the premises of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Papagou Camp.

The new composition of the new Supreme Military Council is the following:

-  Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis, Chief of HAGS
-  Lieutenant General Petros Demestichas, Military Representative/Military Committee for the North-Atlantic Treaty
-  Lieutenant General Nikolaos Flaris, Army Inspector General – Commander of Training Doctrine
-  Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas, Commander of Special Warfare Command
-  Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, Commander of the 1st Army
-  Lieutenant General Georgios Kellis, Deputy Chief of HAGS
-  Lieutenant General Anastasios Spanos, Commander of the National Defence College
-  Lieutenant General Dimitrios Choupis, Commander of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands
-  Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos, Commander of the D΄ Army Corps
-  Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, Commander of the Higher Army Support Military Command
-  Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos, HAGS Chief of Staff
-  Lieutenant General Sotirios Kostakoglou, Commander of the C΄ Army Corps/NRDC-GR
