From Monday, 04 July, to Friday, 08 July 2022, Field Exercise “POTAMIA ODOS-22” was conducted at the Floating Craft Training Centre of South Evros with personnel and assets from D Army Corps “THRAKI” and the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS – LAHANAS”.

The exercise included river crossing operations tasks.

The Distinguished Visitors Day on 07 July was attended by the Commanding General of D Army Corps “THRAKI”, Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, as well as observers from the US (including the 34th US Infantry Division Deputy Commanding General, Brigadier General Stephen E. Schemenauer), Italy, the United Arab Emirates, and Cyprus.
