On 9 January 2024, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, paid an official visit to France following an invitation from his counterpart, General Pierre Schill.

The Chief had a private meeting with his French counterpart, with whom he exchanged views on matters of mutual interest. The meeting took place in an excellent atmosphere and confirmed the common will for even greater enhancement of the cooperation between the two sides.

Within the framework of the visit, the Chief also signed a document of intent for cooperation in order to develop and use the PATROLLER UAV.

The two Chiefs then visited the French Army Base Plant “Section Technique de l’ Armée de Terre”, where they were briefed on its mission, activities, and innovations and were given a tour of its facilities.
