On Wednesday, 31 January 2024, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the headquarters of the Supreme Military Command of Interior and Islands "AEGEAS”, where he was welcomed by its Commanding General, Lieutenant General Emmanouil Theodorou.

During the visit, the Chief was briefed on the Command's mission and operational and training activities.  He then gave a short address, provided guidelines to the personnel, and stressed the importance of their mission.
