On Thursday, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the headquarters of the Hellenic First Army/EU OHQ "ACHILLEAS”, where he was welcomed by its Commanding General, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos.

During the visit, the Chief was briefed on the Hellenic First Army/EU OHQ's mission and operational and training activities. He then gave a short address and provided guidelines to the personnel. Later, he visited the European Union Operational Headquarters, where he was given a short briefing and tour of the headquarters.

Finally, the Chief visited the Career NCO School, where he was given a tour of its facilities, and then went to Pertouli, Trikala, where Career NCO School students currently undergo winter training, together with 90 Hellenic Military Academy (Evelpidon) cadets for the first time. During the visit he was briefed on the winter training provided and attended part of the training activities.
