On Thursday, 22 April 2021, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis participated in a Video-teleconference with the Commanders of the Hellenic Army War College, the Hellenic Army Academy, the Career NGOs Academy, the Infantry School, the Armour School, the Artillery School, the Engineer School, the Signals School, the Army Aviation School, the Personnel Training School of the Technical Corps Training Centre, the Officers School of the Supply and Transportation Corps Training Centre, the officers school of the Ordnance Training Centre, the Medical Corps School, the Financial Corps School, the Signal Officers Telecommunications- Electronics School, the Technical Officers School, the Telecommunication Repairmen School, the Aviation Materiel Repairmen School, the Topography School and the Infantry Reserve Officers School.

During the VTC, the Chief gave his guidelines for the constant upgrade of the training provided, the improvement of the infrastructure and the enhancement of the e-learning capabilities and for the enlargement of the cooperation and the interconnection among the Schools, as well as between the Schools and Universities in Greece and respective foreign Schools. In addition, the Chief stressed the importance of enriching libraries, teaching materials and means of supervision of the Schools, as well as the need to integrate new technologies into the training syllabus and to develop an attitude of research and innovation.

In the end, the Chief thanked the personnel of the Schools for their work which he praised, and he exchanged wishes in view of the forthcoming Easter Holiday. He also reminded them the need and importance of the undeviating observation of the sanitary protocols to combat the pandemic of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
