From 04 June until 22 June 2018, the Non-Commissioned Officers School (NCO) conducted the summer training of its Students, in the area of Kanapitsa, Litohoro.

The School’s Students completed the challenging program of training in an excellent way.

We are constantly watching and evaluating the Students’ training and progress, providing the means to shape the future Non-Commissioned Officers. The personnel is the most important force multiplier of the Army, and its comprehensive, professional and scientific training contributes to our Army’s evolution.

Memorial Ceremony to the Memory of the heroic Soldier (INF) Vassilios Rachoutis

On Sunday, 24 June 2018, a memorial and wreath laying ceremony was held at KAMENA VOURLA in memory of the soldier (INF) Vassilios Rachoutis, who was drowned on 26 September 2000, in his effort to save our fellowmen who were in danger during the sinking of the “EXPRESS SAMINA” ship. 
The memorial took place at the area in front of Agios Panteleimonas Church, where lies the bust of the heroic Soldier.

Speech Delivered by Chief HAGS to Technical Corps Officers at the Tech Corps Officer Training School

On Tuesday, 26 June 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the Tech Corps Officers Training School, at Agioi Anargiroi, Attica and he delivered a speech on “Command and Leadership” to the 27 trainee Second Lieutenants of the Technical Corps, Military Academy Classes 2015, 2016 and 2017 as well as to the 21 officers (Tech Corps) studying at the National Polytechnic School.
