On Thursday 23 July 2026, in the presence of the Commanding General of the Supreme Military Command of the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean “AEGEAS”, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Vakentis, and the Commanding General of the 96^th Higher National Guard Battalions Command “CHIOS”, Brigadier General Panagiotis Lybereas, the inauguration ceremony for the construction, infrastructure, and facility works at “PANAGIA” Surveillance Outpost took place on the islet of Panagia.

The renovation of the “PANAGIA” Surveillance Outpost is a donation of EUROBANK, which covered all required expenses for the completion of the works, thus making an instrumental contribution for the upgrade of the Outpost’s infrastructure and the improvement of the personnel’s living conditions.

The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Oinousses, Mr. Georgios Daniil, the Metropolitan of Chios, Psara, and Oinousses, Mr. Markos, representatives of EUROBANK, active duty Armed and Security Forces Officers, as well as other guests.
