On Wednesday 22 May 2024, the Land Forces Commander of France (Commandant des Forces Terrestres) Lieutenant General Bertrand Toujouse conducted an official visit to our country, after being invited by the Chief of HAGS. During a very amicable meeting, the strengthening of the bonds of the two Armies was discussed, through the:
– Increase of bilateral military cooperation actions.
– Development of a common strategic culture.
– Improvement of interoperability.
– Provision of Host Nation Support.
– Innovation, Research and Experimentation on joint exercises and trainings.
– Cooperation of Military Academies and Implementation Schools.
Afterwards, Lieutenant General Bertrand Toujouse briefly addressed the personnel of the three services of the Armed Forces.
