On Monday 17 June 2024, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, accompanied by the Commander of the 1st Army/EU-OHQ “ACHILLEAS” Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos and the Commander of the D’ Army Corps “THRACE” Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos, went to the “KANAPITSA” exercise field in Litochoro-Pieria, where the summer training – survival of the Students of the Hellenic NCOs Academy is currently conducted. During the visit, he was briefed on the ongoing summer training of the Academy, he observed part of the training subjects and briefly addressed the Academy’s Students.

Afterwards, the Chief visited the premises of the XXIV Armour Brigade “1st Florina Cavalry Regiment”, Units and military facilities, he was briefed on the mission, the operational and training activities of the Formation and gave guidelines to the personnel.
