From 3 to 8 August 2026, the Annual Summer Conference of the Interallied Confederation of Reserve Officers – CIOR was held, in Bucharest, Romania, with the participation of Reserve Officers from the Supreme Panhellenic Federation of Reserve Officers.

In the Conference’s Framework, among others, a Civilian – Military cooperation exercise (CIMEX 26) was held at the National Defence University “CAROL I” of Romania, as well as a Symposium whose topic was “Winning the War on Narratives”, at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest. Meanwhile, a Reserve Officer from the Supreme Panhellenic Federation of Reserve Officers participated in the certified CIOR Language Academy, with the objective of teaching military terminology in English.

Also, Reserve Officers from the Supreme Panhellenic Federation of Reserve Officers participated in the RO Military Competition CIOR SC 26, wherein a total of 37 teams from 10 countries and 130 competitors participated. The contestants were assessed on their military training and capabilities, in objects such as topography, assault courses, combat swimming, shooting, combat casualty management, and the Law of Armed Conflict, while the Greek team distinguished itself considerably.

For the preparation of the Greek team, prior to the journey to Romania, the Hellenic Military Academy provided its facilities, where they trained jointly with equivalent US Reserve Officers groups.

The participation of the Reserve Officers of the Supreme Panhellenic Federation of Reserve Officers in the Conference’s activities, and the distinction they gained, showcased their high level of training and preparation, as well as the participation of the Hellenic reserve in international activities in the Alliance’s framework.
