On Monday, 22 April 2024, the Commander of the 306th Telecommunications Base Plant, Colonel (Tech) Apostolos Konstantopoulos, and the Director and Chairman of the Board of the National Centre of Scientific Research “Demokritos”, Dr. Georgios Nounesis, signed an MoU between the Hellenic Army General Staff and the NCSR Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
The main purpose of the MoU is to enhance scientific cooperation and provide mutual personnel education and training on each party’s areas of specialisation. Specialised technology areas include sensors, photovoltaic systems with applications in defence, energy generation and storage, printed circuits, micro/nanoelectronic devices, and integrated circuits.
