Field Exercise “VELLEROFON-22 – NYKTERINI ASTRAPI” was conducted on 29 November 2022 in the Area of Responsibility of the 98th Higher National Guard Battalions Command in the presence of the Commanding General of the Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands “AEGEAS”, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Choupis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff.
The exercise, which involved personnel and assets of the 1st Army Aviation Brigade “KILKIS-LAHANAS”, tested airhead and bridgehead elimination night operations tasks.
