On Monday, 30 January 2023, the D Army Corps “THRAKI” Change of Command Ceremony took place at Camp “APOSTOLIDI” in Xanthi, in the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos, and the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, with Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos assuming command from Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos.

The ceremony was attended by the MP for Xanthi, Mr. Spyridon Tsilingiris, the Head of the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Christos Metios, the Mayor of Xanthi, Mr. Emmanouil Tsepelis, Honorary Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff General Charalampos Lalousis (ret.), representatives of religious authorities, active duty Armed and Security Forces Officers, retired Armed Forces Officers, and other guests.
