From 11 to 14 June 2024, the 124th Conference of the NATO Army Armaments Group was conducted. It was organised by the Hellenic Army General Staff with the participation of 56 members from a total of 22 countries.

The Group’s objective is the contribution in the planning and materialisation of the armaments of member – states and cooperation through information exchange, so as to achieve interoperability as well as to cover operational requirements.

In the Conference’s context, an exhibition was organised regarding the capabilities of the domestic defence industries, aiming to project them at an international level, with the participation of a total of 19 Greek companies, as well as of the Hellenic Manufacturers of Defence Materiel Association (SEKPY) and the Hellenic Aerospace Security and Defence Industries (HASDIG). Furthermore, a visit and briefing was conducted to the Simulators Centre along with a demonstration of the capabilities for Host Nation Support provision by our Country, in Alexandroupoli.
