From 18 to 19 April 2024, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the Area of Responsibility of D Army Corps “THRAKI”, accompanied by its Commanding General, Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos. In particular, the Chief visited the headquarters of the XVI Mechanised Infantry Division “DIDYMOTIHOU” and the XII Mechanised Infantry Division “EVROU”, Formations, Units, military installations, and Surveillance Outposts.

During his visits, the Chief gave a short address, provided guidelines, and congratulated the personnel for their work.
