On Thursday 30 May 2024, the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the Infantry School in Camp “TAGMATARHI VELISSARIOU IOANNI” in Chalkis, where he made a speech addressed to the Second Lieutenants of the class of 2023.

During his address, the Chief pointed out the significance of the training provided to the new Officers in Military Academies and Application Schools, and encouraged them to make the most of future training programmes, both in Greece and abroad.

Afterwards, he pointed out that the personnel constitutes the best weapon and encouraged the Officers to trust their subordinates, so that they develop the initiative for the dynamic training of enlisted soldiers.
