On Monday 10 August 2026, the Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, visited the Armour School in Avlona, at Army Camp “MAJOR GEORGIOS MELIDIS”, where currently, new Armour Second Lieutenants and Career Sergeants of the 2026 Class are undergoing the Armour School Basic Training Course.

During his visit, the Chief was briefed on the School’s work, its’ training facilities, and addressed the personnel and Students, highlighting the importance of the training provided, and gave them guidelines.
