From 19 to 30 October 2026, at the Litochoro Tank Range, tank fire training was conducted by the trainee Armour 2nd Lieutenants and Career Sergeants of the 2026 Class of the Armour School Basic Training Course, in the framework of their basic training.

The fire training activity also included a crew evaluation, which demonstrated that the trainees are highly competent in the use of weapons systems and the Leopard 1A5 BMT’s firing techniques.

Trainees totalled 13 Armour Second Lieutenants, including 3 from Cyprus and 6 Career Sergeants.
