On Wednesday 7 June 2023, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis visited the premises of the Infantry School at the “Major (INF) Velissarios Ioannis” Camp in Chalkida.
During the visit he was briefed on the accomplishments and the mission of the School, he was given a tour of its premises and addressed the 2nd Lieutenants of Class 2022.
In his address the Chief stressed to the new Officers the significance of the productive utilisation of the daily available time, for continuous military training, maintenance of assets and weapon systems, aiming to achieve the execution of their mission.
He then highlighted the fact that the management and leadership of personnel will constitute the greatest daily challenge they will face and finished by stressing the significance of preserving their fitness.
