In July 2024, the Director of the Army History Directorate of HAGS, Colonel (Inf) Doxakis Komitis, and the Rector of Harokopio University, Professor Maria Nikolaidi, co-signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between HAGS and Harokopio University.

The main goal of the Memorandum is to enhance scientific cooperation between the Army History Directorate of HAGS, the Library and the Information Centre of Harokopio University in order to highlight and disseminate to the public our country’s cartographic heritage through the organization of scientific events on scientific matters of common interest. Particularly important is the cooperation on matters of training and meeting the training and research needs of the public and both parties.
