On Monday 04 May 2026, the Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis attended the International Military Leadership Conference “Αθηνά – Athena’s Wisdom”, held at the Hellenic Military Academy, in Vari, Attica, from 04 to 06 May 2026.

While opening the Conference’s works, the Chief HAGS made an address and focused on the importance of leadership, showcasing the connection between the strategic and the tactical level.

The Conference’s aim was the exchange of ideas, study results, and best practices concerning leadership in military organisations, with an emphasis on future leadership challenges, and to develop leadership capabilities in modern operational environments.

The Conference addresses Officers, Cadets, Academics, Researchers, and Private Sector Entities, and is estimated to essentially contribute to developing leadership in various professional environments.
