From 12 to 13 May 2026, in the framework of the Confidence Building Measures between Greece and Turkey, the Commanding General of the 3rd Mechanised Brigade “RIMINI”, Brigadier General Nikolaos Angelis, visited the Commanding General of the Turkish 9th Border Brigade (Edirne/TR), Brigadier General Bülent Barış Sarp, at the base of the Turkish 9th Border Brigade in Edirne, reciprocating the corresponding visit of the Turkish delegation at the base of the 3rd Mechanised Brigade in Kavyli from 06 to 07 May 2025.
