On Monday, 30 January 2023, the C Army Corps/NRDC-GR “MEGAS ALEXANDROS” Change of Command Ceremony took place at Camp “PEDION AREOS” in Thessaloniki, in the presence of the Chief of Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, as representative of the Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, with Lieutenant General Paris Kapravelos assuming command from Lieutenant General Sotirios Kostakoglou.

The ceremony was attended by Members of Parliament, foreign Consuls, Commanders of NATO Allied Headquarters, a representative of the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Honorary Chief of Cypriot National Guard General Staff, Lieutenant General Ilias Leontaris (ret.), active duty Armed and Security Forces Officers, retired Armed Forces Officers, and other guests.
