On Friday, May 4th 2018, a day event was held by the Hellenic Army General Staff on the subject “The Role of the Leader in the 21st century – Process of Highlighting his role – Establishing a Leadership Culture”.
The Day Event was held in the framework of information and continuous training of the personnel in the presence of the Chief HAGS, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, and was attended by Officers from Headquarters and Schools of the Army of Attica.
The following speakers made a valuable contribution to the success of the day event:
Athanasios Samaras, Assistant Professor of the Department of International and European Studies in the University of Piraeus; Neofytos Aspriadis, PhD Candidate and General Coordinator of the Strategic Communication and News Media Laboratory, University of Piraeus; Spyridon Katsoulas, Doctor of Strategy and Geopolitics in the National Defence College; Constantinos Koliopoulos, Associate Professor of the Department of International, European and Area Studies, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences; Leonidas Dimitriadis – Eugenides, Chairman and Managing Director of Eugenides Foundation; Lieutenant Colonel (Med) Dimitrios Roukas, Directorate of Information Operations (A8), Hellenic National Defence General Staff and Dr. Sarantis Kougiou, Head of Studies and Research in the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government.
The day event was organized in the context of HAGS’ ongoing efforts to invest in the training of its human resources, demonstrating in practical terms that our personnel constitutes our “most valuable weapon system”. Due to the high standing of speakers and the large number of participants, the day event is considered very constructive.
