Review of the Work Conducted by the Office for the Support of Enlisted Soldiers in 2018

The Office for the Support of Enlisted Soldiers was established in order to support the Enlisted Soldiers, particularly during the first stage of their enlistment in the Armed Forces and executes, among others, the following duties:
– Provision of sentimental / psychological support through telephone communication.
– Listing and evaluation of charges and complaints submitted by soldiers through the telephone or in writing.
The function of the Office for the Support of Enlisted Soldiers does not abolish or in any way affect the procedures through which the reports and complaints are forwarded to the Chain of Command or their management according to the stipulated procedures.
The Joint Phone-line for Psychological Support, as well as the Teams of Psychosocial Care remain current and continue to offer their services, as they have done until now.

The Office for the Support of Enlisted Soldiers received in 2018 a total of 2.275 calls for the provision of psychological support (129 cases), problem solving (170 cases), provision of information (1.690 calls) and assistance (286 cases).
