The 15th Army Underwater Demolition Course took place, from 26 March 2024 to 12 July 2024, at the premises of the Special Forces Training Centre in Nea Peramos.
The Course’s objective is to provide special operational training to Special Forces Unit personnel on Underwater Demolitions. The training included, among others, combat physical training, surface swimming, underwater swimming, sea jump, as well as physical tests.
On Friday 12 July 2024, the graduation ceremony was conducted at the Special Forces Training Centre and it was attended by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Dimitrios Choupis, the Commander of the Special Warfare Command of HNDGS Lieutenant General Prokopios Mavraganis, the Director of the Special Forces Directorate of the Hellenic Army General Staff Major General Ioannis Korelis as representative of the Chief of HAGS Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, active duty Officers and relatives of the graduates.
