On Friday, 27 April 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, visited the Signals School, which is located in Haidari, Attica, and attended training activities, conducted by the Military Academy Second Lieutenants/Class 2017 of the Signals School Basic Course.
During training, Signals assets and systems were deployed and a presentation took place, regarding troops’ tactical movement during a digital rockdrill.
Upon termination of the training, the Chief addressed the new Second Lieutenants and pointed out the importance of the continuous trials and practice, before implementing any operational plan. He also pointed out the need for constant self-improvement at all levels, since as new officers, they constitute the hope for the future of the Army and the Armed Forces in general.
