The Chief of HAGS Observes Night Training of Special Forces Units

The Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis observed the night training activities of the Special Forces Units, on Tuesday 15 January 2019, as follows:
He initially went to the Kandili Firing Range, where he observed night fire from portable weaponry with the use of night vision and observation goggles, executed by personnel of HAGS / Special Forces Directorate, Special Forces Training Centre and Paratroopers School.
He then went to the premises of the Special Forces Training Centre, where he observed the specialty training of “Inflatable Boat Users” conducted by the Soldiers Enlisted in the 2018 F’ Training Series.
Finally, in the context of his visit to the Special Forces Training Centre, he inspected the recently renovated facilities, to cover the needs of the personnel serving in the Special Forces Training Centre and the works of maintenance and renovation conducted at the Newly Enlisted Soldiers Company.
The Chief congratulated the personnel and the rangers on their high morale and their pride, but also on their constant and intense effort during their strenuous, never-ending and challenging training.
