On Thursday 23 January 2025, in the presence of the Chief/Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis, and Chief/Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, the Change of Responsibility Ceremony of the Army Inspector General was held at the Artillery School in “Major (Arty) Georgiadis Thomas” Camp, in Nea Peramos, Attica, with Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis assuming the responsibility from Lieutenant General Spyridon Alfantakis.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Very Reverend Archimandrite Mr Polyeuktos Fouskaris, as representative of his Eminence the Metropolitan of Megara and Salamis Mr Konstantinos, Honorary Chief/National Guard General Staff, Lieutenant General Nikolodimos Athanasios (ret.), members of the Supreme Military Council, the Secretary of Administration of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Nikolaos Manouris, active and retired officers, and other guests.
