From June 14 to 22 2026, as part of the round of talks between Greece – France for the year 2026, a delegation from the Hellenic Non-Commissioned Officers’ (NCO) School, consisting of 6 Cadets and 1 Officer, visited the French Non-Commissioned Officers’ School / École Nationale des Sous-Officiers d’Active (ENSOA).

During the visit, the Greek delegation participated in joint training activities with members and students from the French school. Delegations from the corresponding schools in Spain and Italy also participated in the programme, and the training included tactical exercises and military skills tests. Upon completion of the training, the participating cadets from the Non-Commissioned Officers’ School were awarded the “Commando Initiateur” insignia.

As part of the visit, the Chief of the French Army General Pierre Schill, met with the Greek delegation and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and the exchange of experience between the Schools.
