On Monday 27 April 2026 the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, accompanied by the Commanding General of the Joint Academic Education Command Lieutenant General Anastasios Polychronos, visited the Hellenic National Defence College (HNDC), where he delivered a speech to the students of the 78th Resident Course, on “Challenges, Perspectives and Strategic Goals of the Army”.

In his speech, the Chief invited the students, after their forthcoming graduation from HNDC, to show zeal and develop initiatives based on their mission, encouraging them to personally assume their share of responsibility, in the spirit of ensuring national interest.
