From 19 to 23 May 2025, Artillery Units conducted Fire Training at the NATO Missile Firing Installation in Crete, with the participation of Artillery Units personnel, weapon systems and means of the High Military Command of Interior and Islands (ASDEN) “AEGEUS”.

The firings were held in the framework of the scheduled Tactical Evaluation with Guided Anti-aircraft Missile Fire (1st Half of 2025) in order to evaluate the personnel and test-trial the Anti-Aircraft Weapon Systems and Means.

Specifically, guided missile firings were executed with missiles from OSA-AK, ASRAD HELLAS, and STINGER MANPAD launchers.

The firing was attended by the Deputy Commanding General of the High Military Command of Interior and Islands, Major General Emmanouil Hatzis, who noted the high level of operational training of the personnel in the technique and tactical use of weapon systems while firing.
